Description : This is an original limited edition reduction linocut print. It has fourteen colours and has twelve impressions in the edition. Part of my Being Human Series this print references our close attachment to animals and how they support us through good times and bad. The model for the dog in the print is my very own whippet Fergus!

Gwen Scott lives in Melbourne, Australia and works from her home studio producing original colour and black & white limited edition prints. Gwen works full-time as a printmaker and specialises in reduction linocuts.  All her prints are hand cut and hand pulled by her and the finest 100% cotton rag paper, oil-based inks and quality linoleum are used.
Gwen's iconography stems from her interests in classical mythology, the human form, animals, human lifecycle, surrealism, gardens & landscapes and the every-day. 
Gwen has held numerous solo exhibitions and regularly participates in group shows, print exchanges and competitions and has won awards for her reduction linocut prints. Her work is held in many public and private collections around Australia.
