How long will it be before I receive my order?

Your art work will be dispatched by the artist directly to you.  Some of our artists live in remote areas, and don’t always have immediate access to courier services.  As a guideline, allow 7 – 10 days delivery time.  As part of our conditions of membership, artists are required to record the actual date of dispatch, whereby you will be automatically notified that your purchase is on its way.

Where the art work has been sent through one of our associated couriers you will normally be able to access their tracking service to keep track of where your purchase is.

Why don't all the paintings have the View At Home wizard icon?

This service is only provided to those artists who are Classic+ Members and above.

Can I get an alert when a particular type of work is entered in Gallery 247?

If you're a registered collector or art lover, simply log in using your user name and password, click on [Alerts] and specify what you're looking for. It can be a particular artist, subject matter, size or dominant colour for example. As soon as any artist submits a work matching those criteria you will automatically receive an email alert.

If you're not already registered, click here to join Gallery 247 as an art lover - it's completely free, and you can opt out at any time. As well as receiving alerts you will also receive notification of what art shows are happening and where.

To protect your privacy your contact details are never passed on unless you make a purchase, whereupon we disclose such information as is necessary to ensure that you receive what you have ordered.

How secure are my personal details if I buy on line?

Gallery 247 retain your contact details and a record of the actual transaction if one takes place, for your protection in case of a dispute with whichever artist you purchace from.  Your credit card details are managed on a secure National Australia Bank server, to which we do not have direct access.

We never share your details with any third party, other than the artist from whom you have purchased an art work.  We also keep your contact details to send you alerts and notifications if you have elected to become a subscriber to Impressions newsletter.

Is there some sort of guarantee on work I buy on line?

Each artist who sells on line through Gallery 247 offers a money back guarantee.  In practise this means that Gallery 247 holds your payment in trust until 10 days after the artist has despatched your order and notified you accordingly, giving you enough time to make any claims in terms of the guarantee.
