Artist Bio - Vivienne Weston
With over two decades experience, Vivienne enjoys painting every day. She draws inspiration from her international travels and living in a sea-side suburb on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. ‘Painting for me is intuitive – spontaneous and instinctive. Generally, how I feel is reflected on the canvas. Music goes a long way to push and pull me in the right direction’. She goes on to say; ‘Starting in Acrylic, I like to branch out into Mixed Media and tousle between a chill and relaxed vibe to compliment interiors to a vibrant, bold style to contrast and capture attention in a room. I guess, to create a real talking point’. Vivienne finishes each canvas with coats of high gloss varnish, to enhance both colour and protection. With a background in Marketing, Sales, Property Staging and both Interior & Corporate Design, Vivienne is certainly one to watch on the bluethumb scene. Vivienne, joined Oak Hill Gallery, Mornington, November 2022, as a Volunteer, and is now on the Board, and a very active member. Vivienne, has Sold Three of her paintings, in the Exhibition "Deck the Walls" at Oak Hill Gallery, and has exhibited in Red Hill Art Exhibition, Sorrento Art Show, Frankston and Hasting Art Shows. Vivienne has sold her works nationally and her artwork is certified, registered & recorded in the National Registry of Australian Art & Artists. |

Have been with gallery247 for 6 years, both free and now paid. Wonderful on line platform for artists which has made my work easy to find and i don't need to worry about setting up my own website; they even forwarded a message from a community college i volunteered for a few years ago, for an art tutor.
