Beautiful Morning

Description : Inspired by the Cat Stevens song Morning Has Broken this painting is full of texture and gentle colours. It has a misty softness about it which I intended to be a reflection of the beginning of a new day. I wanted to recreate the feeling of awe that goes with seeing something beautiful like a sunrise. This painting is done with acrylic paint and gloss medium. The sides are painted taupe the same as the colour used in the painting. It has a collage element using parts of one of my previous paintings. It is registered in the National Registry of Australian Art and Artists and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It is signed on the front and back and comes ready to hang. I think this painting would bring a serene and gentle energy to the space it occupies.
