Chris Farrell- Artist Statement
My evolving artwork has taken me to use bold colours with inks and other mediums in an abstract way, reflecting in many ways the sea and the beautiful depths and tones within the water.
The works exhibited are from my imagination of the ebbs and flows of the ocean. Seascape paintings depict the sea, ocean, or other bodies of water in a visual art form. These paintings can be representational, depicting specific locations or moments in time, or they can be more abstract, focusing on the feelings and emotions evoked by the sea
Water, or specifically the ocean and its vastness often reminds us of our own fragile frantic lives, so I am challenging the eye of the visitor to look at this exhibition as you were looking into your own life and take some calmness from these works.

Instagram Have been with gallery247 for 6 years, both free and now paid. Wonderful on line platform for artists which has made my work easy to find and i don't need to worry about setting up my own website; they even forwarded a message from a community college i volunteered for a few years ago, for an art tutor.
