Life Is A Mystery

Description : This is a unique, one of a king piece, inspired by Judy Woods Art for Good Workshop.

Staring with a very textured base of paint, collage and markings I applied additional abstract layers to build further interest. Rather than keep this piece abstract, I started to add specific collage pieces from my library of ephemera and different torn papers to start to create a unique visual story.

I love the look and feel of a piece of artwork which uses vintage ephemera, along with the recycling and reducing waste aspect.

I continued to add collage pieces, glazing and sketched in details, in layers to provide intertwining visual delights until I was satisfied with the woven fantasy world I had created.

Let your eyes slowly wonder over this intriguing world, taking in the many small details which can't be seen from afar.
