Butterfly Grove

Description : Butterfly Grove by Rosemary Legat - Acrylic paint & acrylic ink pen on stretched canvas. A slow build of paint application, markings and stencilling with botanical style stencils I created, along with a few tribal vibe stencils I also designed, over a multi layered intuitive colourful base until I was satisfied with her overall look and vibe of soft hues and white. All evoking an enchanting serene escape with a touch of whimsy. Canvas edges painted white. Initialled on the front and signed on the back. Butterfly Grove protected with a layer of fixative spray then varnish. Please check artwork dimensions as in situ examples are for display purposes only and may not be to scale.
