Artist Bio - Rachel McPheeI am a self taught artist who has been painting for about 10 years. I started out with fairly basic abstract designs and have progressed to mainly streetscapes and old architectual buildings over the years. I mainly paint in acrylic and ink on canvas. I am inspired by old or ruined buildings and the way the light progresses in shadow through an open window or doorways or the cobbled streets of old villages in Eurpoe and Arabia. Many thanks for a wonderful Art Show. My wife and I attended on Saturday afternoon and were most impressed.
Not only were the entries outstanding, the layout and the lighting indicated that much thought had been put into the presentation.
No doubt much work had been done behind the scenes to make it such a success.
