Pierina Sannia is a Melbourne born artist with Sardinian heritage.
Her past occupations have always involved creativity, ranging from transparency retouching, fashion styling and jewellery design. It was not until the Covid lockdowns that the Soft Pastel medium came to her attention. Since then she has won over thirty awards including the Ming McKay Award 2021 and the Pastel Society of Australia 'Pastelist of the Year' 2023. Pierina was also accepted into the International Association of Pastel Societies Juried Exhibition in America, in 2023 an 2024.
Pierina is a member of the Pastel Society of Victoria Australia and the Pastel Society of Australia.

Instagram Have been with gallery247 for 6 years, both free and now paid. Wonderful on line platform for artists which has made my work easy to find and i don't need to worry about setting up my own website; they even forwarded a message from a community college i volunteered for a few years ago, for an art tutor.
