Artist Bio - Nel DavisNel Davis is never happier than when turning daydreams into beautiful watercolours. She divides her time between Sydney and the NSW Central Coast, and spends a lot of time thinking on representation of the landscape on painted paper. Nel has participated in several group exhibitions in Sydney and beyond and is now represented by Bloomfield Fine Art Gallery in Terrigal. Many of her paintings are held in private collections, including a number of commissioned works. In the short time she has been painting there have also been several awards. Nel says: “I desire to paint the dream, and for the viewer to see that I’m playing with light, colour, and the crazy nature of watercolour. I have so much to learn. Every day seems to bring a new discovery on technique and expression. Many thanks for a wonderful Art Show. My wife and I attended on Saturday afternoon and were most impressed.
Not only were the entries outstanding, the layout and the lighting indicated that much thought had been put into the presentation.
No doubt much work had been done behind the scenes to make it such a success.

Have been with gallery247 for 6 years, both free and now paid. Wonderful on line platform for artists which has made my work easy to find and i don't need to worry about setting up my own website; they even forwarded a message from a community college i volunteered for a few years ago, for an art tutor.
