Joe Faust (Proserpine, Australia) is a landscape artist who uses a combination of oil paint and cold wax medium to intuitively express the Australian bush.
Joe's painting process, his choice of colour palette, skillful techniques with palette knife and squeegees add life, movement and light to his paintings is evoked by sensations from listening to varied music genres. His emotional response to these transcedent feelings is the source from which he achieves his interpretation of the landscape.
- Inspired by a group of self-taught artists, the 'Brushmen of the Bush', Joe discovered distinctive techniques through experimentation and openness to new ideas and influences which has continuously evolved in an individualistic painting style.

Instagram Many thanks for a wonderful Art Show. My wife and I attended on Saturday afternoon and were most impressed.
Not only were the entries outstanding, the layout and the lighting indicated that much thought had been put into the presentation.
No doubt much work had been done behind the scenes to make it such a success.
