Artist Bio - Jenny GathardI am a hobby artist and paint for relaxation and enjoyment. My preferred medium is water colour but I am not a purist and so a lot of my work I call 'mixed medium' because I will often start with water colour and if I cannot create the image I want on paper from my mind, I will incorporate other mediums to get the result I want. I recently joined the Royal Art Society of South Australia who have a fantastic collection of artists who inspire and support other artists. My tutor of 7 years Margaret Tuckey from Pepper Street Art Gallery SA is an exceptional teacher who has taught me various mediums and to believe in myself. I get great satisfaction giving pleasure to someone else from doing something I love! |

Have been with gallery247 for 6 years, both free and now paid. Wonderful on line platform for artists which has made my work easy to find and i don't need to worry about setting up my own website; they even forwarded a message from a community college i volunteered for a few years ago, for an art tutor.

I have recently become a member of Gallery 247 as an artist, and am so impressed. Communication was quick and very personable. The website seems very user friendly. With the couple of questions I emailed I was looked after with a phone call and very kindly and professionally looked after. Highly recommend.
