Helen Pizzano is a Canberra based digital artist.
I create circle art from my photos of natural and urban environments: I explore amazing and unique colours and textures found all around us focusing on the beach, bush and urban environments.
I studied Asian Studies and History at UWA in Perth. After moving to Canberra and 16 years in the Public service, I took a redundancy to follow my creative passion. Studying Visual Art at CIT and now at ANU, I enjoy sharing my perspective on the world.
Using the kaleidoscope technique, I use my photos to create digital circles using computer graphics software. These images are limited edition, printed to Giclee art paper and to 100% pure silk.
My work has been featured in various exhibitions, publications and galleries.
Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to submit my artwork into the West Torrens competition. All the submissions were excellent and would like to see where this competition takes these artists. Again, thank you so much for your opportunity you give to all South Australians.
