A traditional background has led me to the contemporary style I now enjoy. I have a deep connection to the Australian landscape and it is the colours of nature that initially inspire my artworks. I draw inspiration from places I have lived, visited or travelled through. Of particular fascination for me are the colours and patterns of our landscape from an aerial perspective.
I enjoy painting with a variety of mediums and have a spontaneous approach to my paintings, with every subject a new challenge. I love the versatility of acrylics, the vibrance of inks, the softness of pastel and the depth of oils.
I successfully exhibit and sell my works at exhibitions in NSW, Regional Victoria & Melbourne. Most recent awards include:
"Deniliquin Acquisitive Award 2019", "Best Regional Scene" Bright Autumn Exhibition 2018; "Regional Artist Award 2018" Trinity Albury & "Sect.A Wangaratta Art Show 2018".
