Description : One of the many calves residing in pasture across the road from my home. Cheeky and inquisitive, perfect reminder of why I live in the country.

ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Luscious thick brushstrokes and generosity of high-quality pigment are used to create depth, texture and atmosphere to this artwork featuring a young cow in brown and pink hues.

The sides are painted titanium white. If you’d like this changed to another colour (eg pale grey, pale pink), please let me know.

FRAMING
There is no need to frame this artwork, as the canvas is stretched and secured over an internal frame and therefore ready to hang.

ABOUT ME
Born into a family of musicians, authors, actors, photographers and painters, it was natural that life lead me here, poised at the canvas, brush in hand. I live entirely off-grid at my bushland home in rural Victoria with hubby, dogs and a gorgeously prolific vegetable garden.

I use art to express my immense – well, let's say obsessive – passion for the indigenous landscape, which is easily recognised in my vibrant colourful artworks. Luscious layers of pigment are applied with energy and spontaneity, often switching from brush to palette knife to provide additional texture and depth to my paintings.  Recently I have embarked upon a series of paintings using skin tones to further broaden my skills.

COMMISSION REQUESTS
Like something similar in a different size or using different colours? I am really happy to discuss commission requests.

Please note, I do not produce prints of my artwork. This painting is completely original and one-of-a-kind.

PACKAGING
My paintings are treated with the greatest care throughout their life in my studio and home, or at exhibitions where they may temporarily hang. I am extremely careful to ensure your art does not suffer scuff marks, dents or scratches; and it will be carefully wrapped in bubble-wrap and sturdy cardboard.

Best,
Eve x

Not Currently for Sale Online

Hi there!  I no longer sell my artwork on Gallery247, so please feel free to search for me elsewhere.  Thanks and have a lovely day!

ABOUT ME

Born into an incredibly creative family, it was natural that life lead me here; poised; brush in hand. Lately I have introduced skin tones into my art to further broaden my skills and inspiration.

You will rarely see me paint a landscape in the traditional sense. Instead, I prefer to get up close and personal with my subject, study its form and colour, its character and its flaws, and translate this impression into something new: cropped, colourful, suggestive, and alive.

So please, sit back, browse through my portfolio, and maybe one of my paintings will find its new home.

I am a member of Victorian Artists Society, Nagambie Artists Group, and Seymour & District Art Society Inc, and an active member of the art community with paintings exhibited on a continual basis.  You can also follow my journey on social media by searching my name Eve Sellars.
