Hello, Thank you for taking the time to read my Biography. From yhe time I could hold a pencil I have loved making marks on paper, canvas, boards and anything else I could find! I was 5 years old when my parents discovered my gift for drawing and they encouraged me every step of the my artistic journey! That was just a FEW years ago! At least it seems like it.

Whenever I pick up a pencil or a brush I immediately become that small child again, learning to create something with only the few items in front of me. You could say I'm now an artist who draws with brushes. This is the best way to describe what I do artistically. You see I use watercolours to to create my artworks but not in the traditional sense. I do watercolour washes for the background of my paintings, then I use thicker layers of watercolour to "draw" my design.

Most recently I have also added texture to my work to create that three dimensional aspect. 

From my studio in Central Victoria I have travelled extensively throughout Australia, the art of painting and drawing helps me re-live the many adventures I've had exploring this wonderful country.I particularly love the wild birds, flora and landscape. Having lived in Alice Springs, Darwin and the east coast for extended periods of time, the sights and sounds of Australia aren't just there in my mind, they've been etched on my heart as well.

There's a story behind every artwork that I create and I love to see others enjoy the artwork and the story behind it.I've been priviledged to have received many awards for my art, these include: "Best in Show", "First Prize", "People's Choice","HighlyCommended", plus "Talent Awards" and 4 "Certificate of Excellence" awards.I have received a cerificate of acheivement from the University Of Newcastle in Drawing Nature, Science and Culture: Natural History Illustration 101.

Taking time to appreciate Creation and learning as much about my subjects and my ability to capture them authentically is at the forfrotn of my artistic journey. For m, drawing and painting equals happiness!
