About the Artist - Diane Yousouf
I am a Sydney based Contemporary Landscape artist working in oils, acrylics, soft pastels and watercolour.
I love the colours of the Australia terrain. The dramatic bushland and vibrant seascapes attract me and I always try to capture that distinctively intense Australian light.
My works are held in private and corporate collections in Australia and overseas.

Biography: Studied in Sydney – Acrylics - Oils - Pastels – Tutor LINDA SIMONIS , Drawing with Tutor RICHARD PORTER
I love the work of the Impressionists, in particular Claude Monet and Renoir.
There are many artists that I have been lucky enough to attend workshops or demonstrations in the Sydney area. Their guidance has encouraged me to explore many different mediums. Some of the artists that have been the strongest influences are my teacher of many years, Linda Simonis and other artists include Cathy Harry, Chris Seale (Acrylics), Catherine Hamilton (Soft Pastels) and Jacky Pearson (Watercolour). Other artists that have influenced my work are Glenda Carter (Contemporary) and Richard Porter (Drawing).
