Ann Richardson is a Melbourne based Artist who works with watercolour, acrylic and alcohol ink.

Ann left her home town of Ashburton, New Zealand to see what the world had to offer. She has worked and traveled extensively, all the while exploring different techniques and approaches to her art.

She continues to create art, drawing inspiration from everyday life: her family, friends and the beautiful scenery around her. Ann's artistic philosphy is grounded in the belief that art should be accessible and engaging, allowing wider audiences to be involved and appreciate it.

With a background in Visual Merchandising, Ann's aestheic has continued to evolve and a few ago years she discovered alcohol ink. Working with the alcohol ink allows Ann to explore colours, detail and intricated patterns. Her eclectic and unique personality comes through in the  vibrant and bold colours that make her art so special.

Ann's work has been exhibited in art shows across New Zealand and Australia including Ashburton (NZ), Avoca Beach (NSW), Bayside, Hobsons Bay, Mornington, Moonee Ponds and Camberwell ( VIC ) Australia.
